Perfected touring – redefined

Starliner NEOPLAN Bus GmbH has brought new standards to the complete coach program. For this reason NEOPLAN shall not produce 2 axle buses in the premium super high-decker segment anymore. Starliner and NEOPLAN have redefined the perfection of traveling.

The new NEOPLAN Starliner is powered with a 6 cylinder turbodiesel MAN D 2876 LOH 20/21 CR, vertically mounted at the rear. This motor is 480 hp in the standard version.

Innovative “Common-Rail” technique provides a torque of 1.900 1/min. 2.300 Nm, which could not be achieved up to date.

In all Starliner buses transmission is realized directly with the 12 gear automatic TipMatic transmission which is integrated with the newly developed Easy Start system to assist startup.

The proven wheel suspension at the front and the multi-hypoid axle chassis are based on the advanced MAN technology. It is equipped with electronic stability program (ESP) in standard, which assists the stability of the vehicle by motor or brake intervention in critical instances.

Moreover, NEOPLAN has developed an electronic suspension system, which provides for driving that can be adopted according to all road conditions in the future.
